Deidre Krok
Family Support Coach
• Masters of Social Work • Certified Peer Recovery Specialist
Deidre’s a Licensed Social Worker with more than 25 years of experience helping parents, caregivers, and families navigate developmental, behavioral, and relational challenges from early childhood through young adulthood.
She supports families who are trying to understand early developmental or behavioral concerns, as well as those navigating the more complex challenges that can emerge during adolescence and young adulthood, including emotional regulation, independence, and substance use.
Throughout her career, Deidre has worked with children, adolescents, young adults, and families in NJ’s Intervention system, public schools, community-based family support programs, and substance use prevention and recovery services. These experiences have shaped her understanding of how family challenges evolve over time, and how early concerns can grow into longer-term patterns that affect communication, connection, and daily life.
Her coaching is collaborative and strengths-based, designed to complement, not replace, clinical treatment, therapy, or medical care. She helps families build on their existing strengths while developing practical tools to navigate challenges and strengthen relationships.
Deidre believes that when families feel supported and understood, meaningful change becomes possible even in difficult seasons. She considers it a privilege to walk alongside families as they navigate their journey.
